Before we visit

  • Have your shelf/blind/pole ready, or ask us to source it after a quick measure.
  • Tell us the wall type (solid/timber studs/dot-and-dab) if known; photos help.
  • For heavy or deep shelves, let us know the intended load (books, plants, kitchenware).
  • For tiled areas, confirm tile type and if you have spare tiles.
Load notes: Floating shelves and long curtain poles need the correct anchors and, ideally, solid fixings into studs or masonry for heavy loads. We’ll advise on suitability and alternatives if required.

We carry a range of quality anchors for masonry and plasterboard. If your product includes fixings, we’ll assess their suitability and replace where needed for a safer install.

Yes—using appropriate drill bits and methods. Above windows we’ll check for lintels and select anchors that grip properly in the material present (masonry, steel, or timber).

Yes—most metal or wooden poles can be trimmed for a precise fit. We’ll deburr and refit finials and brackets neatly.

Absolutely. We can assemble flat-pack shelving and secure it to the wall with safety brackets or straps as required.
