Before we visit
- Confirm the flooring type, board size and preferred direction.
- Share the room sizes (m²) and subfloor (concrete/boards).
- Let us know if you want scotia or skirting off & refit.
- Have flooring acclimatised per the manufacturer (usually 24–48h in-room).
- Clear small items; we’ll help shift larger pieces safely where possible.
Notes: We don’t install carpet, lay full liquid screeds, or handle damp remediation/asbestos.
For bathrooms, we’ll follow manufacturer guidance for moisture and expansion.
FAQs
You can supply materials or we can recommend options. We’ll confirm compatibility with your subfloor and any underfloor heating.
We can do either. Removing/refitting skirting gives a seamless look; scotia is quicker with less disruption. We’ll advise for your room.
Sometimes, if the substrate is flat, sound and within height tolerances. We’ll assess on site and discuss thresholds/doors.
We can bag and stack waste for your disposal, or arrange removal by prior agreement if required.
Our standard service is floating click systems. Glued LVT/parquet and complex herringbone patterns can be discussed and scoped separately.
